Food Mill / Ricer / Masher
I have 2 different sized ricers (also referred to as a 'food mill') . I use them when I want a light and fluffy mashed potato. If I'm doing a large batch, but if it's just Bill and I, I use the smaller one.
I personally feel that both tools make a very light, fluffy mashed potato. If you prefer a chunkier mashed potato, stick to the good ole fashioned masher!
